The professional CAT (Chain Alignment Tools):
The chain and belt alignment is controlled laser-exactly in a matter of seconds. Why should you work time-consuming and cumbersome when you can get a special tool very cost-efficient?
D-CAT   = Point laser (mostly used workshop device)
L-CAT    = Line laser (very advantageous for the belt drive)
SE-Line = For the occasional use (motorcyclist version)

The precision of all devices is of course the same. The workshop versions are more comfortable and faster in the application which affects the cost of production.

Chain Elongation Measurement - Digital CEM
By using sticky chain lubrication the wear limit, specified by the chain manufacturers, is often exceeded. The fact is, that in contrast to the earlier open roller chains (2% increase in length was allowed) a sealing ring chain must be exchanged at 0.6% increase in length!
Customers like to transfer "old" chain care knowledge to today's O, X, Quad, Z-ring chains. By the sealing ring chains, the chain pins are permanently greased by the chain manufacturer. Outside; the chain must stay clean! See PDL Profi Dry Lube.
