Product information "NEW -PDL® Base Treatment- 300 ml"

Replaces chain cleaner. The Profi Dry Lube active ingredients are combined with adhesive and grease dissolving components. Base Treatment is cleaner and lubricant in one application. During the first trips your new chain set will be conveniently released from sticky lubrication grease which is production-conditioning on the chain. Also used chains, which are to be converted to Profi Dry Lube, are pre-treated quickly and conveniently. After spraying, contamination and the sticky components on the surface can be wiped off. The base treatment components are effective when driving in the lubrication gap under the outer chain rollers, which can be easily moved again after a short time.  Now PDL-Dry Lube - for the always clean chain - is used as regular chain lubricant.

PDL-Profi Dry Lube is used as a dry film chain lubrication during the entire season, without cleaning the chain. Nevertheless, at the end of a season and before the winter it is advisable, to do an uncomplicated cleaning with this component too.
For this purpose, our new product PDL® Base Treatment was developed. Base Treatment replaces CHAIN CLEANER and the entire work with it.
After spraying with PDL® Base Treatment surface contamination and sticky chain sprays are simply wiped off. Immediately after the treatment it can be drive as usual.
This combination application is unique and has compared to other cleaners the advantage that the dirt under the chain rollers can be driven out.
Therefore, the lubrication gap is clean and prepared for the well-known Profi Dry Lube chain lubrication.
PDL® Base Treatment - DBGM protected and manufactured in Germany - is our own development, which puts the motorcycle chain back into an absolutely clean state with just a minimal effort.
The product is available in 2 versions: The standard 100ml can or as a 300ml workshop can

Ich verwende das Produkt schon seit Jahren auf meinen Ducatis. Es funktioniert genau so, wie beschrieben. Kein Dreck, kein Verschleiß, saubere - goldene :-) - Kette! Mein Mechaniker prophezeite mir einen frühzeitigen Wechsel bei 15.000 Km, falls ich nicht den "bewährten" Dreck der konventionellen Schmierung verwende......Jetzt habe ich 30.000 km auf der Uhr und noch immer gut....Im Regen habe ich nicht viel Erfahrung, wie PDL wirkt. Im Zweifel einmal mehr aufsprühen! Werde nie was anderes verwenden. Den Mechaniker habe ich aber noch.....

Wenn die Dichtringe mit dem PDL Pflege System sauber gehalten werden KANN DIE KETTE NICHT VORZEITG VERSCHLERSSEN. Danke für die Mitteilung.

Genial

Servus,
hab meine 4 Kisten auf Dry Lube umgestellt. Zuvor hab ich die Ketten mit Base Treatment behandelt. Sind schön sauber geworden. Das Mittel kriecht richtig in die Rollen und bringt den Dreck raus. Rad lässt sich spürbar leichter drehen. Also ich find´s klasse!

Bin begeistert!

Das Produkt ist echt genial und tatsächlich so wie beschrieben. Hatte bei meinem Klassik-Trial-motorrad einen neuen Kettensatz montiert und diesen anfänglich mit einem herkömmlichen Kettenspray geschmiert. Der klebrigen schwarzen Pampe war mit keinem Reiniger beizukommen. Deswegen habe ich mich entschieden, das PDL Base Treatment auszuprobieren. Die Kette ist mit wenig Aufwand nun blitzblank und auch das Hinterrad lässt sich von Hand spürbar leichter drehen, wenn das Motorrad aufgebockt ist. Die Dose hat natürlich seinen Preis, ist diesen aber absolut wert und ist auch sehr ergiebig. Werde nun auch meine restlichen Motorräder auf PDL umstellen.
